How long does menopause last and how long will I be on treatment?

E-mail Print

Menopause lasts, on average, approximately 5 years. However this could be a lot shorter but could also be a lot longer. It is normal for women to remain on the treatment program from anywhere between 6 months and five years and some women may require treatment beyond five years.
The Menopause Centre intends to monitor your progress throughout while you are on the treatment program. This enables us to determine intermittently how you may cope with less supplementation and perhaps without supplementation. We will be doing ongoing testing and monitoring of your symptoms to help guide you through your menopause.
