The below is a true cry for help and a brief insight into the sort of requests we get at the Australian Menopause Centre every day.
To whom may concern
Hello I am Hiroko from Tokyo living in Japan currently.
I saw your website last night and wonder if you could help my younger sister who is suffering from depression since she has her ovary removed in February 2016. She is still 45 and she had her ovary removed for ovary cyst and the surgery was successful.
She was completely well for a couple of months after surgery but she has started to have fever to begin with and after fever anxiety has started. She has started not to be able to meet anyone as her hart was beating too fast and breathing difficulties as well.
And now she is in deep depression, crying everyday and telling everyone she wants to commit suicide.
She has already been to many doctors including psychiatrist and gynecologist and treated by many medicines ( hormone cream hormone gel and depression pills as well) However none of them had worked…
So I had been looking for somewhere outside of Japan as none of them worked for her.
I would really appreciate if you could save my. sweet younger sister.
I would like to see her smile again…..
I hope to hear from you soon.
P.S. I was living in Sydney and Brisbane for 2years almost 15years ago.
I enjoyed living there and like your country very much.
This is but one case of a lady who is desperate for help and where the Australian Menopause Centre provides help and support for woman not only all over Australia, but sometimes in other countries where there is little help available or where the professionals are not sufficiently skilled in the subject of hormone deficiency. Such people are placed in the ‘too hard basket’ or are prescribed possible dangerous, set doses of synthetic hormones all because these professionals rely upon big Pharma and their funded accomplices to ‘educate’ them on what to prescribe.
Thank you to all our wonderful patients who continue to rely upon us to help them at this phase of their life’s journey and by being a patient at AMC. You enable us to be there for others who are not so fortunate to have access to the help that we can provide.
